Elise Boeur & Adam Iredale-Gray explore traditional dance music in fluid, easy lockstep. Their music is a masterful exploration of traditional tunes collected from years of travel, performance, and social music making. Fiddler Elise Boeur draws from the wells of Swedish and French fiddle music, and Adam Iredale-Gray is a versatile guitarist and fiddler with deep roots in Irish traditional music. They each spent years touring as collaborators with diverse projects, and with their JUNO-nominated quintet Aerialists, and all along they were playing fiddle tunes at sessions, folk dances, and afterparties - the thread that connects their dance repertoire is Boeur and Iredale-Gray’s open-hearted, contagious love of the melodies.
